PRYWON / PROGRAM 02 STRATEGY DAY ONE CONCENTRATED DAY
One Day of Strategic Direction

One critical
question.
One clear direction.

A concentrated strategic engagement for founders, leaders and teams facing a consequential decision.

Strategy Day examines the present reality, clarifies what is truly at stake and establishes the decisions, priorities and next actions required for meaningful progress.

The Strategic Moment

Some decisions
should not be made
between meetings.

A consequential question deserves protected attention, rigorous examination and a deliberate decision.

Organizations frequently attempt to address strategic complexity while remaining inside the daily operating rhythm that produced it. Urgency fragments attention. Assumptions remain untested. Immediate activity replaces direction.

Strategy Day establishes a focused environment outside that rhythm—allowing the right people to examine reality, confront choices and leave with a coherent direction.

Before Complexity

Multiple interpretations, priorities and possible paths.

During Examination

Evidence, assumptions, choices and consequences made visible.

After Direction

A shared decision framework and defined next actions.

Appropriate Strategic Moments

When the cost of
unclear direction rises.

Strategy Day is intended for a defined strategic moment—not for routine planning, general discussion or passive instruction.

01

A Critical Decision

A consequential choice requires evidence, perspective and deliberate judgment.

02

Competing Priorities

Teams are moving in different directions without a shared standard for priority.

03

Strategic Transition

A new phase, market, operating model or institutional responsibility requires examination.

04

Leadership Alignment

Leaders hold different interpretations of the problem, ambition or required direction.

05

Persistent Stagnation

Activity continues, but meaningful forward movement remains limited.

06

Unexamined Opportunity

A promising possibility requires serious evaluation before resources are committed.

The Working Day

A disciplined progression
from reality to commitment.

The exact agenda is shaped around the strategic question, but every Strategy Day follows four connected movements.

Movement 01 08:30 Opening Frame
Question

Define the real strategic question.

Establish the context, responsibility, stakes and boundaries of the matter under examination.

Output Question Frame
Movement 02 10:00 Reality Examination
Knowledge

Establish a shared understanding.

Examine evidence, assumptions, constraints, capabilities, stakeholders and relevant external conditions.

Output Reality Map
Movement 03 13:00 Direction Session
Strategy

Determine direction and strategic choices.

Examine possible paths, consequences, priorities, trade-offs and the decisions required for coherence.

Output Direction Frame
Movement 04 15:30 Commitment Session
Build

Translate direction into next actions.

Define ownership, immediate priorities, decision points, measures and the operating rhythm following the day.

Output Action System
NOTE / 01

Breaks, reflection periods and working intervals are placed according to the participants and complexity of the question.

The Strategic Record

The day ends.
The direction remains.

The result is documented in a concise strategic record structured around decisions and execution.

Preparation Protects the Day

The work begins before
the room is entered.

01
Initial Inquiry

Submit the strategic context.

Explain the question, relevant background, participants and the consequences of remaining unclear.

02
Diagnostic Conversation

Examine whether Strategy Day is appropriate.

Prywon assesses the question, required participants, available evidence and readiness for focused work.

03
Evidence Review

Assemble the relevant material.

Participants provide the information required to understand the present situation before the day begins.

04
Working Design

Structure the day around the real question.

Prywon defines the agenda, working materials and sequence appropriate to the decision.

Strategic Readiness

One day can establish
direction—not replace
responsibility.

Strategy Day is valuable when the participants are prepared to examine reality, make choices and carry the resulting commitments forward.

Appropriate When +
  • The strategic question can be clearly bounded.
  • The relevant decision-makers can participate.
  • Necessary evidence can be made available.
  • There is genuine readiness to make choices.
  • The organization can act after the day.
  • Confidential discussion can be protected.
Another Format May Be Better When
  • The underlying question remains entirely undefined.
  • Extensive research is required before judgment.
  • Stakeholders cannot participate or provide evidence.
  • Execution requires a longer guided progression.
  • The need is routine operational planning.
  • The participants are seeking validation rather than examination.
Before You Request a Day

Frequently examined
questions.

Every Strategy Day is shaped around a defined strategic question. Contact Prywon if you are uncertain whether this is the appropriate format.

Contact Prywon

The people carrying responsibility for the question, decision or subsequent execution should participate. The final group is determined during preparation.

Depending on the question, participants and working requirements, the engagement may be delivered physically or through a structured digital environment.

The group should remain limited to people directly relevant to the question. Prywon recommends the smallest group capable of making and carrying the decision.

Limited preparatory examination may be included. Questions requiring extensive original research may be better suited to Strategy Sprint or Advisory.

Strategy Day establishes direction, decisions and next actions. Its value depends on preparation, participation and disciplined execution afterward.

Pricing depends on the complexity of the question, preparation requirements, participant group, delivery format and any additional follow-up requested.
